Abstract

|
Authors encountered a case of hip joint tuberculosis in which relatively intact cartilage was found while subchondral bone and a part of acetabulum are markely destroyed. Arthroplasty using the intact cartilage was performed instead of time-honored arthrodesis. Four years of follow-up study shows very satisfactory result.
